VUISO ORGANIZE PDF — how to use =============================== Put the pages of a document in the order you want them: drag them around, drop the ones you do not need, and slot another PDF in anywhere. Everything happens inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and it works with the network switched off. This tool is about ARRANGING. To join whole files end to end use Vuiso Merge PDF; to turn pages that came in sideways use Vuiso Rotate PDF. OPENING IT Double-click "Vuiso Organize PDF.html". It opens in your browser like a normal page. There is nothing to install. Chrome or Edge is recommended; Firefox and Safari work too. THE SHORT VERSION 1. Open PDF (or drag the file onto the page area) 2. Drag the pages into the order you want 3. Save PDF MOVING PAGES Drag a page and drop it where the blue marker shows. That is the whole gesture, and it works with a finger as well as a mouse. For longer journeys - page 40 to the front of a 200-page document - select the pages first and use the buttons instead: ← Move Back / Move On → one place at a time To Front / To End all the way, in one step A selection travels together and keeps its own internal order, so moving pages 3, 4 and 9 as a group does not shuffle them. Drag any one of them and the rest come along. The number under each page is its place in the file you are about to save, so it renumbers itself the moment anything moves. SELECTING PAGES Click select one page SHIFT + click select everything between it and the last one clicked CTRL + click add one page, or take one out of the selection CTRL + A select every page Esc select nothing Clicking the only selected page again deselects it. The count in the toolbar always says how many pages the output has and how many of them are selected. WHAT YOU CAN DO Insert PDF reads another document and puts ALL of its pages in right after the last page you selected - or at the end when nothing is selected. They arrive selected, so you can move them straight on. Dropping a file onto the page area does the same thing. Both documents stay open. Each keeps a colour, shown beside its name in the sidebar and as a small bar under every page it contributed, which is the only thing that says which page came from where once they are shuffled together. Remove Pages takes them out of what will be saved. Your files on disk are never opened for writing, so nothing you do here can damage them. Each page also has its own X button when you hover over it. Insert Blank Page puts an empty page after the last page selected, the same size as that page. A spacer in an A4 document should be A4, not a default the rest of the document is not. Save PDF writes every page in the grid, in the order shown, to a new file. A summary appears first; nothing is written until you press the button in that window. Open PDF starts again with a new document, and asks first: it throws away the arrangement you have built. To keep it and add pages to it, use Insert PDF. Text stays text, vectors stay vectors, images keep their own resolution, and nothing is re-encoded - so nothing loses quality and a searchable PDF stays searchable. - Undo covers the arrangement: every move, removal and insertion, eighty steps deep. Opening a new document with Open PDF starts a fresh stack, which is why it asks first. - Big documents open immediately. Thumbnails are drawn only as they scroll into view, and the cache holding them is capped, so a 200-page file does not end up sitting on hundreds of megabytes of pictures you are no longer looking at. - Memory, as a rough guide: allow about 300MB plus several times the size of everything you have open - and inserting a second document means both are open at once. Under 50MB it is comfortable anywhere; a 100MB scan wants about 2GB free. If it ever runs out the browser closes the tab, and because your originals are never written to, you lose the arrangement and nothing else. - Forms and signatures: page content is preserved, but interactive form fields and digital signatures do not survive being copied into a new document. That is a limit of editing PDFs in general, not of this tool. - Nothing about your documents is stored. No cookies, no database, and the only thing kept between visits is which of the two languages you picked - closing the tab loses the arrangement, which is why there is a warning before you do. PRIVACY The file contains a Content-Security-Policy that forbids network connections entirely. That is enforced by the browser, not promised by us: open DevTools, watch the Network tab, and it stays empty. You can also disconnect from the internet and the tool still works.
